My Book The Heroine's Journey
We all have the potential to be heroines. We just need the courage to answer the call and see ourselves as the heroine in our story. It's how everyday journeys can transform you, and inspire others on your path.
Your Inner Heroine: It's Your Time To Shine
For 18 years, I've witnessed countless women embark on extraordinary journeys of self-discovery. Now, it's your turn. In my book, "You Are a Heroine," I reveal the ancient Heroine's Journey framework, a powerful tool for navigating life and creating the life you deserve.

I met many women and heard many stories as I’ve taught about the Heroine’s Journey for the past 18 years. In 2012 I got to the point where I just had to get down what I was learning and share it. I had to expand my reach to enlighten more women about this amazing journey path, its milestones, and how to use it to navigate life. Five years of writing produced You Are a Heroine: A Retelling of the Hero’s Journey which was published in December, 2019.
The Heroine’s Journey is your path to the life you are meant to live. This is why the model for living is featured in stories, books, and films from the earliest times to today. Its message is as pertinent today as it was to the listeners of Homer telling about Odysseus’ journey. It’s connected to every great hero and heroine in history—and to every real-life heroine and hero today.
No matter where you are in life… this book will help you take the steps you need to create the extraordinary life you hoped was possible. It is. The book lays out the path for you to follow. It will reveal new insights into who you are (identity), how to clarify what you want and bring it to you (direction), and how you have the strength and wisdom to create the life you’ve always wanted (power).
Now, it’s time to pay attention. Do you hear that whisper in your ear to leave your comfort zone? Will you answer your call to adventure? Take my hand. I’m the guide for your journey!
I’m still learning. The school became a place to house what was taught and what I was learning from the heroines who came to the school—to the courses, to the gatherings. A place of learning and sharing, it’s a way to build community, which is how we get that sacred feminine energy out into the world so it can help balance.Â

In addition, this book has received numerous editorial reviews, including a BlueInk Starred Review, which concludes with: The author’s straightforward, conversational writing is a pleasure, but it’s her ability to help women interpret their circumstances in a more adventurous, intuitive way that makes this book unique. While male heroes have been traditionally defined by their physical battles, “Heroineism,” she writes, “is about having the courage to expand from within.” The Heroine’s Journey gives us a fresh way of seeing just how far we can go. – Read the full review here.
