Get To Know Sophy
Sophy Burnham is the author of fifteen books--three on the New York Times (and many other) best-seller lists. She has published novels, nonfiction, short stories, poetry, award-winning plays, documentary films, and children’s books. She is best known for writing on spiritual matters—angels, mysticism, prayer, psychic and numinous experiences—and for spreading hope and trust. Her books are translated into 26 languages. She has given talks both at home and abroad and appeared on TV and radio shows worldwide. Two of her books changed the way people perceived the world.
Her favorite award is “Daughter of Mark Twain.” In later years she has worked as a psychic and medium, and as a spiritual director.
Her 2019 New York Times article for Modern Love, about love as an older woman garnered responses from men and women of all ages.
