Life coaches help clients get to where they want to go. They are traveling companions as the client navigates new terrain to meet their goal. Coaches use a particular model, or framework in which to do this. This “map” helps a coach locate where the client is in her current state and gives them a common language they both can use to talk about what might lie ahead.

I guide clients through their life transitions using the Heroine's Journey framework. This powerful metaphor, familiar from countless stories, resonates deeply with many people. It allows us to see your life as a transformative adventure, where you, the heroine, face challenges and ultimately achieve growth.

It's not about a traditional win/loss metric, but rather a transformation in self-perception. Many clients come to me facing difficult situations - a stifling job, unfulfilled relationships, or a general lack of direction. They often feel creatively stifled, unable to pursue their true passions.

This shift in perspective is what I consider my true success metric. Every client who walks away feeling like they can say "I can do this!" is a success story. They no longer see themselves as passive recipients of circumstance but as active participants in shaping their own destinies. In that sense, my client success rate is 100%. They all discover their inner heroine.

You will develop a plan that has dates and required actions. This is drawn from my many years of working as an organizational consultant leading companies in strategic planning. You need a plan, with a timeline! I’ll check in with you to ensure you’re moving through your plan. I’ll also help you manage the challenges that arise. I’m a traveling partner that sticks with you as long as you need me.

Each session is sixty minutes. Before the session I send out a series of questions that help the client focus on what she wants to cover – and gives me a heads up as well. I send out these questions for the client to answer before our session:

At the start of the session, I check in about how the client is doing in the moment, then we review where she is according to her plan. We end with a summary of what needs to be done prior to our next scheduled session.
